An error message is useful only when the next action is clear. Fallback connects five common failure states to working local recovery paths. Try a search that returns nothing, save a note while the demo is offline, retry an attachment or review a permission boundary. Each example explains what remains safe and gives the user a specific next step. These examples extend the existing table states, upload components and alerts into complete interactions. The source is deliberately small enough to adapt to your application; a production API must supply the actual network, upload and authorization behavior.

How to use it
Unzip fallback and open index.html in a browser. Edit the HTML copy, the demo arrays in js/main.js and the palette in css/style.css. The supplied Bootstrap files are self-hosted, so there is no build step or external script dependency. Changes are stored only in this browser; connect your own authenticated API before using real records. Deploy the folder to any static host.

Change colors and typography using the custom properties at the top of css/style.css. Edit content in the HTML pages and the initial data arrays in js/main.js. Reset demo clears only this template’s saved demo records.
Is this a production backend?
