Every template on this page is designed and maintained in-house by uiCookies, so these are our own farm and agriculture layouts rather than a roundup of links to other studios. There are three, and they serve quite different businesses: Furrow for a family farm with a farm shop, veg boxes and pick-your-own, Tiller for an agricultural services company or farmers' co-operative, and Green, a smaller four-page site for an organic farm or fresh-produce seller.
A farm website earns its keep with practical answers. Customers buying direct want to know what is in season, when the shop is open, how to order a box or a basket, and how to find the farm down a lane their satnav may not know. Growers dealing with a co-op or contractor want services, prices and a quick way to book a soil test or a machine for the week that matters. Either way, much of this is read on a phone, in a car park, a field or a farmyard, so opening hours, directions and the main button need to be easy to reach on a small screen.
Each template is a static set of HTML, CSS and JavaScript files: unzip it, open index.html, edit the copy and upload the folder to any static host. Furrow and Tiller are recent builds on Bootstrap 5 with vanilla JavaScript and no jQuery. Green is an older design modernised to Bootstrap 5 and vanilla JavaScript; it still ships animate.css and the Icomoon icon font, and its about page keeps some placeholder copy. All three are free for personal and commercial use, including client work, and attribution is optional but always welcome; the full terms are at uicookies.com/license. Forms, and Furrow's shop basket, run in the browser only and take no orders or payments until you connect a form service, shop platform or backend.
The templates
Furrow
Furrow is a three-page site for a family-run mixed farm, shown as the fictional Brookmoor Farm. The home page opens with a seasonal hero and an in-season calendar whose month picker redraws the produce list, then a veg box builder, farm shop hours with an open-now status, a pick-your-own board, the farm story, events with a booking modal and a newsletter. The shop page has category filters and a basket drawer with collection or delivery and a postcode check, and the visit page adds a picking guide, prices per kg, a cost estimator and an illustrated farm map.
One small seasonal data list drives both the calendar and the hero, which sets its season name, accent colour and peak crops from the current date. The veg box builder prices small, family and large boxes, weekly or fortnightly, with add-ons, as you choose. Built on Bootstrap 5 with vanilla JavaScript and no jQuery.
Tiller
Tiller is aimed at the business side of agriculture: an agricultural services company or farmers' co-operative, shown as the fictional Tiller Agri Co-op. The home page carries a depot storage board, a services grid, an indicative commodity price board, a yield and input calculator, sustainability stats, member benefits with a price comparison, an agronomist team, news with field days and a call-back form. A services page details each service with process steps and a soil-test booking form, and a machinery page lists hire equipment with filters and a quote dialog.
Growers can switch the price board between $/t and $/bu, with sparklines and a 15-day chart drawn in SVG, estimate the seed, urea, MAP and potash a paddock needs, and see a live cost as they book a soil test. The demo prices are illustrative and carry an indicative-only notice. Built on Bootstrap 5 with vanilla JavaScript and no jQuery.
Green
Green, the smallest of the three, is a four-page template for an organic farm or fresh-produce business. The home page presents a 100% Organic product section with items such as dragon fruit, watercress, carrots and bell peppers, followed by blocks on fresh, non-GMO and locally grown produce. An About page covers company history and a leadership team, a Gallery page holds farm photos under the heading Photos From Our Farm, and a Contact page has a feedback form and contact details. Every page shares a footer with quick links, products and a subscribe field.
It is an older design modernised to Bootstrap 5 with vanilla JavaScript and no jQuery, but it still ships animate.css and the Icomoon icon font, loads two old Internet Explorer shims, and its about page keeps some lorem-ipsum copy to replace. Still a sound starting point for a small brochure site.

How to choose
Start with who your customers are. If you sell to the public, whether through a farm shop, a veg box scheme, a pick-your-own field or seasonal events, Furrow is built for that: it shows what is growing this month, prices a box as the customer builds it, tells visitors whether the shop is open and gets them to the right field with a map and directions. If you sell services to other farmers, Tiller fits better, with a price board, an input calculator, soil-test booking and a machinery hire catalogue with quotes. Green suits a grower who only needs a few pages covering produce, story, gallery and contact, and who is happy to replace placeholder copy and work with an older build.
Plan the parts that need a backend before you launch. Furrow's basket, collection days, postcode check and order confirmation all run in the browser, with the basket kept in localStorage, so it takes no real orders or payments until you connect a shop platform or an order form service. Tiller's call-back, soil-test and hire quote forms, and Green's contact and subscribe forms, send nothing on their own either. Tiller's price board reads from a COMMODITIES object in js/main.js, so showing real bids means filling it from your own price feed or updating it each trading day.
Frequently asked questions
Can Furrow take real veg box and farm shop orders?
Not on its own. The veg box builder, basket drawer, collection days, postcode check and order confirmation all run in the browser, and the basket is saved in localStorage on the visitor's device. Connect a shop platform or an order form service before taking real orders or payments.
How do I change what is in season on Furrow?
Each crop is one line in a small array at the top of js/main.js, listing the months it is available, the months it peaks and where it is sold. Edit or add lines and the month picker, the season strips, the counts and the hero's peak crops all follow. Delivery postcodes and fees sit in the same file, and opening hours are read from the list in the footer.
Can Tiller show live grain prices?
The price board reads its bids and 15-day history from the COMMODITIES object at the top of js/main.js. The template ships with illustrative figures and an indicative-only notice, so to show real bids, fill that object from your own price feed or update it each trading day.
Does Green need any work before it goes live?
Yes, a little. The demo uses placeholder copy, including some lorem ipsum on the about page, and the header and footer are repeated in each of the four files, so change them everywhere. The pages also load two old Internet Explorer shims, html5shiv.min.js and respond.min.js, which modern browsers do not need.
Can I use these for a working farm or a client's agri business?
Yes. All three are free for personal and commercial use, including a live farm website or a site you build for a client. Attribution is optional but always welcome, and the full terms are at uicookies.com/license.
