All three templates on this page are designed and maintained in-house by uiCookies; they are our own automotive layouts, not a roundup of third-party themes. Two are dealership sites: Autohaus for a showroom with a filterable inventory, and Forecourt for a used-car forecourt that sells on the monthly payment. The third, Torque, covers the other side of the trade, with a site for auto repair shops, garages and independent mechanics.
Car buyers usually arrive with a shortlist and a budget, so a dealership site has to show stock quickly, with price, year and mileage visible and an easy way to narrow the list. Finance figures need to be clear and honestly labelled, trade-in or part exchange should be one step away, and booking a test drive or viewing should not mean hunting for a phone number. Repair customers want something different: posted prices, a quick quote, a booking slot and the shop's hours and location, all easy to use on a phone.
All three are static HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no build step, so you can edit the files directly and host them on any static host. Autohaus and Torque run on self-hosted Bootstrap 5 with vanilla JavaScript and no jQuery. Forecourt is built on Bootstrap 6, which is still in alpha; the framework is vendored at a pinned commit and targets evergreen browsers only, so it works better as a head start on v6 than as a site you need to maintain today. Each is free for personal and commercial use under the standard uiCookies licence and has a live demo and a download page. The forms, from test drives to service bookings, work in the browser but send nothing until you connect them.
The templates
Autohaus
Autohaus is a two-page showroom template for new and used car dealers, EV and pre-owned retailers and auto brokers. The homepage opens with an inventory mini-search (make, model, maximum price and condition), then featured stock that filters instantly by New, Used, Electric, SUV and Sedan, a finance calculator, reasons to buy such as a 172-point inspection and a 7-day return promise, a services block covering sales, service, parts and financing, testimonials, a test-drive booking form and an eight-question FAQ. The inventory page lists twelve vehicles and sorts them by price, year or mileage.
The dark charcoal showroom look with electric-blue accents is set in Space Grotesk and Inter. Its calculator uses the standard amortised-loan formula, recalculating the monthly payment, amount financed, total interest and total cost as you move the sliders, and vehicle photos open in a keyboard-friendly lightbox. Self-hosted Bootstrap 5, vanilla JavaScript, no jQuery, and content stays visible with JavaScript off.
Forecourt
Forecourt was designed for car dealerships, used-car forecourts, vehicle brokers and garages, and its demo follows UK conventions such as part exchange and an FCA regulatory footer. The homepage leads with a photographic showroom hero and a three-field stock search, then a latest-arrivals grid where every card leads with the monthly payment and puts the cash price beneath it, a finance calculator, a part-exchange valuation form and three branches with opening hours. A vehicle page adds a gallery strip, a two-column specification, honest condition notes and a sticky finance rail with a booking dialog.
Its three finance sliders (deposit, term and APR) update every quoted monthly on the page, including the cards in the grid, and the figures are labelled as flat-rate illustrations rather than quotations. The valuation form uses Bootstrap 6's Combobox and Datepicker. Deep graphite with one signal-orange accent, light and dark mode, Bootstrap 6 alpha and ESM-only vanilla JavaScript.
Torque
Torque switches from selling cars to fixing them. It suits auto repair shops, garages, independent and mobile mechanics, and tyre, brake or quick-lube centres. The homepage opens with a quick-quote form (service, vehicle make and year, name, phone), then an eight-service grid running from oil changes to safety inspections, trust points such as ASE-certified technicians and a 24-month repair warranty, posted service prices, a three-step process, the mechanics, testimonials, coupons and an FAQ. The second page holds the full service menu with from-prices and turnaround times, a cost estimator and an appointment request form.
The design is rugged charcoal with a safety-orange accent, set in Saira Condensed and Barlow. The estimator ranges a price by service and vehicle type, the services filter by maintenance, repair, tyres and inspection, and coupon codes copy to the clipboard in one click. Self-hosted Bootstrap 5, vanilla JavaScript, no jQuery.

How to choose
If you sell cars, choose between the two dealership templates by how your customers shop. Autohaus suits a showroom that wants visitors browsing stock, with instant filters, a sortable inventory page, test-drive booking and room for service and parts, all on stable Bootstrap 5. Forecourt suits a forecourt or multi-branch dealer whose buyers compare monthly payments, with a calculator that changes every listed figure, a part-exchange valuation and several branches, but it is a Bootstrap 6 alpha build. Whichever dealership template you pick, swap the placeholder vehicle photos for your own stock shots before launch. If you repair cars rather than sell them, Torque is the one to use.
We do not have a dedicated auto detailing or rental template. For detailing, Torque adapts best: its service menu with from-prices and turnaround times maps onto wash, valet and ceramic packages, the estimator already prices by vehicle type, and the coupons and booking request suit repeat customers. For car or equipment rental, start from Forecourt's vehicle page, whose gallery, specification and sticky rail with a booking dialog make a reasonable fleet listing, or from Autohaus's filterable inventory for a fleet overview. Neither checks availability or takes payment, so pair it with a booking system.
Frequently asked questions
Are the finance calculator figures real quotes?
No. Autohaus estimates a monthly payment with the standard amortised-loan formula, and Forecourt shows flat-rate figures that the template labels as illustrations rather than quotations. Replace the sample rates with your lender's, and check your finance wording and regulatory footer with your lender or compliance adviser before launch.
How do I add or update vehicles in the inventory?
In Autohaus each vehicle is a self-contained HTML card: copy one, change the photo, year, make, model, price and spec row, then set its data-category so it appears under the right filters. On the inventory page, also set data-price, data-year and data-mileage so sorting works. There is no stock feed, so larger dealers may prefer to generate the cards from their inventory system.
Do the test-drive, viewing and service booking forms send anything?
Not on their own. The Autohaus test-drive form, Forecourt's part-exchange form and booking dialog, and Torque's quick-quote and appointment forms are front-end only, with no backend attached; Autohaus and Torque also validate entries in the browser. Connect them to a form service, your inbox or your dealer CRM to receive real requests.
Can Torque show my own labour prices and coupons?
Yes. The posted prices, service menu and coupons are plain HTML, and the estimator's service ranges and vehicle-type multipliers are simple objects in js/main.js. Replace the placeholder figures with your own and present the result as a guide rather than a binding quote.
Can I use these for a real dealership or garage?
Yes. All three are free for personal and commercial use, including client projects, under the standard uiCookies licence. Attribution is optional but always welcome, and the full terms are at uicookies.com/license.
