Evermore — Free Wedding Invitation Website Template

Evermore turns a wedding invitation into a website that still feels like card stock. Ink-navy Bodoni type sits on cotton-white paper with a fine grain, the invitation card has deckled edges, and gold-foil rules, monograms and numerals pick out the details. Guests press a wax seal to open an envelope, read the invitation in formal wording, and find the timings, map, rooms and dress code on the same page. The reply card asks only what applies: the plus-one name and menu appear when a guest says yes, and a calendar file is ready once they reply.

  • Paper grain, deckled edges and foil done in CSS and inline SVG, with no texture images
  • All content visible without JavaScript; the envelope intro and animations respect prefers-reduced-motion

  • Free for personal and commercial use; attribution optional but welcome. Full terms: uicookies.com/license

How to use it

Unzip the folder and open index.html in a browser; there is no build step. Edit the names, wording, times and venue in the HTML, and the wedding date and calendar details in the EVENT object at the top of js/main.js. Colours, fonts and the paper texture are custom properties at the top of css/style.css. Replace the photos in img/ with your own. The RSVP form validates in the browser only, so connect it to a form service before sending the link, then upload the folder to any static host.

Frequently asked questions

Is Evermore free for commercial use?

Yes. Evermore is free for personal and commercial projects, including sites you build for clients or couples. Attribution is optional but always welcome; the full terms are at uicookies.com/license.

What is Evermore built with?

Bootstrap 5.3.8 for the grid and the mobile menu, one stylesheet for the design layer and a single vanilla JavaScript file. There is no jQuery or other JavaScript library, and the icons, map and textures are inline SVG and CSS.

Which pages and sections are included?

Two pages. The invitation page has the envelope intro, formal invitation, countdown, story, ceremony and reception, order of the day, venue map and directions, accommodation, dress code, registry, FAQ and an RSVP prompt. The RSVP page holds the reply card and an at-a-glance summary.

Does the RSVP form send replies?

Not on its own. It shows and hides the plus-one and menu fields, validates every answer in the browser and then shows a success state with a calendar file. Connect it to a form service or your own backend to receive replies.

Can I turn off the envelope animation?

Yes. It already plays only once per visit and never for visitors who prefer reduced motion. To remove it, delete the envelope block at the top of index.html; the page works the same without it.
