Shortlist — Free Bootstrap 6 Job Board Website Template

Shortlist is a free, premium Bootstrap 6 website template for job boards, careers sites, recruitment agencies and internal vacancy pages. It pairs a full board — search, sticky filter rail, listings, sectors, hiring companies and a post-a-job form — with a job detail page built around a sticky apply rail.

The template takes a position, and the design carries it: every listing shows a real salary range. The filter rail leads with a salary floor Range rather than a keyword box, the post-a-job form makes both salary fields required, and the single role without a range is explicitly badged “salary not disclosed” rather than quietly styled the same as the rest. It is a small thing that makes the board look like it has an editorial standard, which is what job boards actually compete on. Range, Combobox, Chip and Datepicker are all new in v6.

Key features

  • Two pages — job board and a job detail page
  • Every listing shows a real salary range; the one that doesn’t is explicitly badged
  • Sticky filter rail led by a salary-floor Range slider, formatted as money not a raw number
  • Multi-select sector Combobox, pattern and contract checkboxes, salary-only switch
  • Dismissible filter chips showing the active query
  • Post-a-job form where both salary fields are required to submit
  • Job detail page with a sticky apply rail and a native dialog application form
  • Sector tiles with live counts and a hiring-companies grid
  • Job data lives in one place and renders both pages, so salaries cannot disagree
  • Bootstrap 6 vendored at a pinned commit, ESM-only, no build step

Before you use it

Bootstrap 6 has not been released. npm i bootstrap@6 does not work yet and the framework is still changing, so treat this as a head start on learning v6 rather than a foundation for a production site you need to maintain today. The framework is vendored into the template at a pinned commit, so nothing here can drift. It targets evergreen browsers only — Safari 16.4+, Chrome 111+ and Firefox 113+ — because Bootstrap 6 is built on oklch() and color-mix().
