How to use it

Download the ZIP, unzip it, and open index.html — no build step, nothing to install. Edit the text and images, point any forms at your backend or a form service, and deploy the folder to any static host. Colours and fonts live in css/style.css; the interactions are in js/main.js.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Sprout template free to use?

Yes. Sprout is completely free for both personal and commercial projects, including real client and business websites. You can customize the colors, copy, and images without restriction. Attribution is appreciated but not required.

Does Sprout require jQuery or a build step?

No. Sprout is built entirely with vanilla JavaScript and self-hosted Bootstrap 5, so there is no jQuery dependency and nothing to compile. Just open the HTML files or upload them to any host and the template works as-is. There is no npm install, bundler, or framework to learn.

How many pages come with the template?

Sprout includes two fully built pages: a comprehensive home page and a dedicated Programs & Enrollment page. The home page covers hero, programs, trust points, approach, daily schedule, teachers, gallery, tuition, testimonials, a booking form, and an FAQ. The programs page adds detailed program breakdowns, a comparison table, an enrollment-steps walkthrough, and an enrollment form.

Will the content still show if a visitor has JavaScript disabled?

Yes. Sprout is built with progressive enhancement, so all text, images, and links are fully visible even with JavaScript turned off. The scroll animations only enhance the experience when JavaScript is available; they never hide content. This also helps with SEO and accessibility.

Are the enrollment and tour forms functional?

The forms include complete front-end validation, inline error messages, and a friendly success state built with vanilla JavaScript. Because the template is static, they do not send email on their own; you connect them to your own form handler, a service like Formspree, or your CMS. The markup uses proper labels and autocomplete attributes to make that wiring straightforward.

Can I change the colors and fonts?

Easily. The entire palette is defined as CSS custom properties at the top of css/style.css, so you can recolor the whole site by editing a handful of variables. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and swapped in one line, and the rounded shapes and shadows are also centralized as variables for quick tweaks.

Is Sprout accessible and mobile-friendly?

Yes. The template uses semantic HTML landmarks, ARIA attributes on custom widgets like the lightbox, accordion, and slider, visible focus styles, and full keyboard support. It is mobile-first and responsive, with a working off-canvas navigation menu that collapses on small screens and honors the user's reduced-motion preference.

What kind of business is Sprout designed for?

Sprout is purpose-built for the early-childhood niche: daycares, preschools, Montessori and play-based schools, after-school programs, and family childcare homes. The copy, program cards, schedule, and tuition sections are all written around real childcare needs, so you can adapt the wording to your center rather than starting from generic placeholder text.
