Pawprint — Free Animal Rescue Website Template preview

Every template on this page was designed and is maintained in-house by uiCookies, so these are our own animal-care layouts rather than links to other people's themes. There are three, one for each kind of organisation: Pawprint for an animal rescue or shelter, Companion for a veterinary clinic, and Fetch for a pet grooming salon.

Pet owners judge an animal business on trust and warmth before anything else. A rescue has to make each animal feel like an individual and make adopting, fostering and giving feel achievable. A vet has to show who will handle the animal, what care costs and what happens in an emergency, and a groomer has to show prices clearly and prove the results with photos. In every case the next step, whether an application, an appointment or a booking, should be obvious from the first screen, and it all has to work on a phone.

All three are static HTML, CSS and JavaScript on Bootstrap 5 with vanilla JavaScript and no jQuery, each with a live demo and a direct download. They are free for personal and commercial use, including a working rescue, practice or salon site and client projects. Attribution is optional but always welcome, so the footer credit can stay or go; the full terms are at uicookies.com/license. Adoption applications, appointment and grooming bookings, donations and newsletter sign-ups validate in the browser but send nothing and take no payments until you connect them to a form service, booking tool or payment provider.

The templates

Pawprint

Pawprint — free animal rescue website template by uiCookies

Pawprint is a three-page site for an animal rescue or shelter, shown in the demo as the fictional Second Chance Animal Rescue. The home page opens with an adopt-a-pet hero and quick search, then featured animals, adoption steps, count-up impact numbers, foster and volunteer panels, success stories, a donate strip, adoption-day events and a newsletter. The adopt page lists 26 sample dogs, cats and rabbits with a fee table and a four-step application, and the get-involved page covers donations, fostering, volunteer shifts, a supplies wishlist and sponsorship tiers for businesses.

Visitors filter animals by species, age, size and who they get along with, save favourites to a heart shortlist and open a profile dialog with photos, temperament meters and a medical checklist. The donation form handles one-time or monthly gifts with live impact text. Built on Bootstrap 5 with vanilla JavaScript and no jQuery.

Companion

Companion — free veterinary clinic website template by uiCookies

Companion suits veterinary clinics, animal hospitals and pet-care practices, shown as the fictional Companion Animal Hospital. The homepage carries a hero with a quick-booking form, a services grid running from wellness exams and vaccinations to dental care, surgery, grooming and emergency care, a why-choose-us block, meet-the-vets cards, a four-step booking timeline, pet-care tips, testimonials, an insurance and partner strip and a seven-question FAQ. The Services and Booking page adds detailed service breakdowns, three monthly wellness plans and a full appointment form.

A 24/7 emergency line sits in the top bar, the copy and the footer, and both booking forms check required fields, email format and past dates before showing a success message. Warm teal and coral with Fredoka and Nunito type. Built on self-hosted Bootstrap 5 with vanilla JavaScript and no jQuery.

Fetch

Fetch — free pet grooming website template by uiCookies

Fetch is a two-page template for pet grooming salons and pet-care businesses. Its one-page home runs through services and pricing, a before-and-after results slider, the groomers, reasons to choose the salon, a happy-clients gallery, retail add-ons, a loyalty band where every sixth groom is free, testimonials, hours and location, an FAQ and a closing call to action. The second page is a dedicated services, pricing and booking page with a size guide from Small to X-Large, a grooming menu priced by pet size, the booking flow, add-ons and its own FAQ.

The multi-step booking flow validates each step and shows a live price and time estimate from the service and pet size chosen. The before-and-after slider works by drag or keyboard, and the gallery opens in a keyboard-navigable lightbox. Built on self-hosted Bootstrap 5 with vanilla JavaScript and no jQuery.

How to choose

Match the template to what a visitor should do. If the goal is to get animals adopted and supporters giving, fostering or volunteering, Pawprint is built for it: the adopt page revolves around filtering animals and applying, and the get-involved page gathers every other way to help. A practice that treats animals should start with Companion, which leads with appointment booking, introduces the vets, prices its wellness plans and keeps the emergency number in view. A salon, mobile groomer or pet spa will get more from Fetch, whose menu is priced by pet size and whose booking flow estimates price and time as the owner chooses.

If your animal business isn't a rescue, a vet or a groomer, there is no exact match here, but the patterns overlap. Dog daycare and boarding services can adapt Fetch's size-based pricing and booking flow, and a mobile or house-call vet can use Companion with light copy edits. An animal welfare charity that doesn't rehome animals can still reuse Pawprint's donation, volunteer, supplies and sponsorship sections. Whichever you adapt, connect the forms before launch, and take donations and deposits through a proper payment provider rather than a form that emails itself.

Frequently asked questions

Can people send adoption applications through Pawprint?

The four-step application has a progress indicator, per-step validation, a review screen and a success state, but it does not send data on its own. Connect it to a form service or your own backend before launch, along with the foster, volunteer and newsletter forms, and point the donation form at your payment provider.

How do I add or remove an adoptable animal?

Each animal is one article element in adopt.html. Its data attributes drive filtering and sorting (species, age group, size, good with kids, cats and dogs, arrival date and fee), and data-photos lists its gallery images. Copy a card, change its text and attributes, and add the name to the animal list in the application form; the filters, result count and detail dialog pick it up automatically.

Does Companion's booking form schedule real appointments?

No. The compact hero form and the full form on the Services page validate required fields, email format and past dates, then show an inline success message. Because the template has no backend, connect them to your own handler, an email service or a scheduling tool to receive requests.

Can I set my own grooming prices for each dog size in Fetch?

Yes. The services page has a size guide and a grooming menu priced by pet size, and the booking flow's live estimate is based on the service and size chosen. Before launch, change the service names, prices and durations to match your own menu, and connect the booking and newsletter forms to a backend or form service.

Can a rescue, clinic or salon use these for free and remove the credit?

Yes. All three are free for personal and commercial use, including a working rescue, practice or salon website and client projects. Attribution is optional but always welcome, so you can keep, move or remove the footer credit. The full terms are at uicookies.com/license.
